Target: Road/rail bridge near the marshalling yards at Aulnoye-Aymeries. Load: 18x 500lb bombs. The Master Bomber instructed crews to bomb the TI’s if visible through the low cloud, and if not, to go home. The McIvor crew returned with their bombload intact. This was Plt Off Bailey's 'second dickie' trip. |
