Shot down near Koblenz at 0410 by Lt Wendelin Breukel of 5./NJG 2 in his Ju-88 and crashed in the village of Koblentz, near Pasewalk, some 22 miles NW Stettin. The crew were buried originally at Pasewalk Cemetery, but were reinterred on 04 Oct 47 at the Berlin (Heerstrasse) British Cemetery, Henningham in Grave 14.H.8.
